In Finland alone, Attendo runs 430 care facilities and has 14,500 beds in operation. As one of the country’s largest private care providers, they deliver critical services that Finnish communities depend on daily.
With operations at this scale, efficiency matters. Their marketing and communications team in Finland saw AI's potential early.
"We realized AI could eliminate the repetitive work that keeps us from working on strategic projects," explains Noora Qvick, Digital Marketing Specialist.
Attendo Finland wanted to deepen their understanding of available AI use cases and identify how to incorporate AI into daily marketing and communications work.

"We set a clear vision," says Sini Korpinen, Attendo's Chief CX & Communications Officer. "Every team member would start using AI for at least one task."
Most teams need to see AI in action before they believe it can work for them. The 90-minute workshop was built around live demos designed specifically for Attendo’s use cases. As a result, Attendo's team became genuinely excited about AI adoption.
"The workshop connected AI to our team’s daily reality," says Noora. "We saw actual tools doing our everyday work."
The mapping process began with interviews across Attendo's marketing and communications team in Finland. The interviews revealed current challenges, bottlenecks, and repetitive tasks that consumed hours each week.
The result? Over 50 potential AI use cases mapped across content creation, social media management, internal communications, and analytics.
Each use case was evaluated on potential impact and implementation feasibility. This approach gave Attendo visibility into where AI could deliver the biggest wins.
The final phase turned Attendo's top four AI use cases into concrete plans. Each solution was broken down into technical requirements, upskilling needs, and deployment timelines. Attendo's team gained clarity on exactly what needed to happen, when, and with which resources.
"The use-case mapping exercise gave us clarity on where AI can drive value for our team. We now have a practical game plan to start implementing right away," Sini summarizes.
