
Olo-apteekki is a fast-growing Finnish online pharmacy with continuous, high-volume campaign marketing. Every campaign requires banners and animations across multiple formats and channels.
"We wanted to get time-consuming visual production off our plates so we could focus on growth," says Mari Savolainen, Head of Marketing at Olo-apteekki.
Previously Olo's digital marketing specialist was building visuals using Canva and Adobe. The work involved downloading product images from the PIM system, removing backgrounds, placing images on templates, adding copy, and animating versions for social media. Each format variant was exported one at a time. A single comprehensive campaign set took on average 20 to 30 minutes to produce.
For running dozens of campaigns per month, that math stops working fast. The team needed a system that could scale with their growth.
"It's a relief that we don't have to search through the systems for product images anymore, or produce each visual variant separately," Mari says.
After testing several approaches, OstraconAI built a custom web app that handles the full production process. The solution skips generative image creation entirely: it uses real product images with AI handling only the layout decisions.
The app allows users to upload product images, enter campaign copy, and select banner sizes. One click generates all required formats. Every variant appears side by side for review, and adjustments apply across all formats simultaneously. A second click produces animations in all required sizes at once. Production time dropped from 20–30 minutes to near-instant.
"The UI is miles better than Canva for this kind of work," Mari says. "Anyone on our team can use it."
Alongside the app build, OstraconAI ran hands-on training with the commercial team on using Claude. Within days, team members had set up Claude Projects for their daily tasks, and hit their usage limits within the first week.
"Everyone got really excited. Today at the office, everyone is working with AI in someway," says Aleksi Routama, CEO of Olo-apteekki.
"I think we're only at the beginning of what's possible here," Mari says.
